Meet Chef Rafi.
Rafi has always been a lover of food. His Argentine and Middle Eastern roots have given him a relationship with food that is intertwined with family and love. However, Rafi’s journey with food has never been easy. In his teenage years, Rafi was in-and-out of the doctor’s office trying to find the cure for “what was wrong with him.” From false diagnosis of gluten-intolerance, SIBO and IBS, the answer to his symptoms were not clear. Through a self-lead health journey, Rafi found nutrition to be the foundation of his answer, so he spent his college education diving deep into human nutrition and got a degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University of California Davis. His previous experience as a private chef to a celebrity family in Los Angeles, personal chef for families with varying dietary restrictions and culinary instructor provided him the skillset necessary to merge his passion for culinary arts with his education in nutrition to start his own small business in Portland, Oregon.
